Photoshop to look good ?

PHOTOSHOP. I'm sure you've heard about this software right ? Different people use it for different purposes. To some, it is a necessity to get their job done. For example, a designer or maybe a student who is taking up some designing course. You know like to design posters ,banner etc... Photoshop is also used by many web designers to design websites as you can see websites nowadays are so pretty and funky.

The thing i feel is not so right about......Why some people enjoy Photoshop to make them look good in pictures /internet ?? Alright alright, theres nothing wrong if you wanna edit maybe the color of the image or crop part of the image maybe because of the background where u took the picture and stuff like that. BUT, not to the extend of enlarging ur eyes,making ur face smaller,enlarging ur boobs,making ur body thinner & stuff like that. (No offence to anyone who does this & if you think its right) Ok, i admit i did try doing that to a few of my pictures but that was a long time ago & i did not post it online or potray that as the real me. PHOTOSHOP & MAKE-UP is totally a 2 different thing i would say.

By using photoshop on Most of your pictures & potraying it as 'YOU'...just imagine how would people react when they see the real you ?? Make-up is a different story, yes ..MANY people says 'Make up makes wonders'.. Of course it does if you make up as in really REALLY ALOT. Now thats a different story too! As for me, yes i do make up when i go out nowadays but not to the extend where i MUST put on fake eyelash,few different shades of eyeshadows,lens & stuff like that. I only use thick make up occasionally. Mainly during events & photoshoots i guess. Make up is just to beautify a person unlike photoshopping ur own picture.. Its like potraying urself as another so called 'Perfect' person when thats not the real YOU. Fooling around with photoshop sometimes is alright but not making it like A MUST DO on ur list each time u wanna show ur photos to people. Thats just a total NO-NO for me,honestly.

To all the girls out there, IF you think Photoshop can boost your confidence, you are so WRONG. It only makes you happy in a short term. You would want people to like you for who you really are and how you look like. Photoshop is something like plastic surgery but only ONLINE on not to your real face/body.
