| Biggest Commercial Complex in Johor now! It is a RM500mil project , located at Taman Century Gardens, opposite Holiday Plaza shopping complex near Jalan Datuk Suleiman.This building comprises of a four-storey retail complex, two 26-storey hotel towers with 950 rooms and two 33-storey apartment towers.(The hotel and apartment are not ready yet.Only the mall is open.) This mall was officially open during december 2010. Its still very new ,in fact there are still many vacant shops in this mall and some are still on renovations. For example, Sushi king,Kinsahi and also the famous hypermarket - TESCO. I took a few pictures when I was there with Jiahui. The cineplex is owned by MBO CINEPLEX . I know what you're thinking when you don't see TGV or GSC right ? Fret not ! MBO Cineplex is almost as good as them ! Seriously ! Its not too small & not too big ! I felt that it was just nice & the look of the cinema looks awesome to me :) I felt like i was at Aquaria KLCC ! LOL . 
  Aquariums all around you while eating ? NOT BAD ,Right ? I didn't try the food there yet tho' They wrote , '1 Malaysia Food' but they also have western food ! XD Other shops.........  The famous 'eat as much as u can' Korean bbq food ! (I have not tried this yet either :( SOON ! Waiting for my beloved to be back!)  This shop is good for Tourist ! :) Other than all these few shops I mentioned , there are some other nice shops too ! I just didn't take pics of all of em' ..I didnt even bring my camera out . Merely used my bb to take these pics which explains the not so good quality huh? Well well, I'll list down some of the nice / famous shops alright ? FOOD - Seasons Cafe -Wong Kok -Sushi King (on renovation) -Kinsahi(on renovation) -Kopitiam -Each a cup(bubble tea stall) -Elianto -F.O.S -The Face Shop -Sembonia (Sort of like the only branded store i saw?hmm) SHOES -Summit -Fabiano Ricco -Eleven -Amoeba & so many more.... Telecommunications & etc -Nokia -Samsung -Digi -Hotlink **There are a few shops selling pirated dvds as well ! I know this attracts quite alot of ppl ! XD Overall, I think there are still room for improvement for this new mall. For example, there are no places to sit (bench/rest area) for shoppers. The mall also lack of atm machines (I only saw one rhb which is a shop owned by rhb bank. Maybe its because it is still NEW but nevertheless those are necessities and it should already be in the mall when it is open I think. Other than that, there are lots of boutiques for the girls & also shoes. Its a bit like a mixture of Sg.Wang @ KL & the concept a lil like Sutera Mall @ JB . Its nice to see that JB is slowly developing much more than before :) P/S: If you're not from JB like i am & if you're planning to go to KSL , I think you should wait prolly about maybe a month or two before you go :) Till here ! <3 <3 <3 |

The fact of the matter is its MBO. It's nothing to do with its location at Kuching or anywhere else. MBO just sucks! flat SUCKS!!! I'm staying at KL. Just watched Transformers 3, like just now, at MBO Spark, Desa Petaling. Sound problem man... it was not muted, it's playing. But when you hear the sound, its like as though you were hearing it underwater with the sound amplified. How stupid is that. Me and some other guy went out to complaint, after a while they fixed the prob, but only for a short moment the sound went crazy again. I went out again and ask if they could get the sound fixed and rewind the movie for a bit. They couldnt because it will affect their movie schedule. So i asked if I could get a refund. She's like gladly accpeted my request as though she had been through this all the time with the customers. So I asked again, "Can you refund for all the others inside"?. She's making some face and turned away. So there I was 'trying hard' not to waste my time, finishing the movie in a cinema not worth watching.
Putting together home and luxury seems to be the new trend all over the world today. A lot of hotels and condos today have shopping centers below or near them. Life is getting easier as time goes by, huh? I wonder what would be next. =)
