Park Yong Ha commited suicide !

Popular 33 years old South Korean actor/singer who lives at Seoul committed suicide on last wednesday. He was found dead in his room by his mother that evening after massaging his father's leg.(who is a terminal patient suffering from stomach cancer) . He hanged himself from a charging cell phone cable which finally left him breathless. According to his mother, he has been suffering from Insomnia and has been consuming sleeping pills lately. Besides, after massaging his father's leg, he has been repeatedly saying "I'm sorry" to his father before committing suicide in his room.

Park Yong Ha has made his debut when he was one of the main actor in Television Drama back in 1992 - 'WINTER SONATA' . He is not only an actor , but he has also been a popular singer in Japan and has released few albums. He was supposed to have concerts around Japan and Korea this july til august 22 . Tickets has already been sold to his fans ,but unfortunately all concerts have to be cancelled due to his sudden death. He was also scheduled to start filming in July for a Korean television drama called Comrades, Almost a Love Story - a remake of the popular 1996 Hong Kong film.

The reason of his death was mainly his Depression of his father's illness & also the failure in his business. It was said that he had opened his own company with his dad as the president. Due to some mistakes done by his manager regarding the financial issues , they suffered huge losses til the stage he consulted a used car dealer to sell his car recently. These explains why he has been taking sleeping pills .

Ok, I may not be a big fan of Park Yong Ha , but I think I know who is he. I cant judge him from what he did but to me , I still think commiting suicide is equivalent to Giving Up which is very Irresponsible. You leave all your burden and also add another burden (your death) to your devastated family. From various researchs,SUICIDE is the leading cause of death among South Koreans in their 20s and 30s. To anyone out there who is suffering from depression or whatever problems , PLEASE NEVER COMMIT SUICIDE!! Its the WORST SOLUTION . Always REMEMBER YOUR LOVE ONES CARE FOR YOU!!
